The Weber Spirit E-310 Natural Gas Grill is actually a near identical version of the Weber Spirit E-310 Liquid Propane grill. The main difference between them is that the Spirit E-310 Natural Gas grill is designed to be hooked up to natural gas line.
The Spirit E-310′s three stainless steel burners collectively produce 36,000 BTUs of heat evenly spread over 424 square inches of grilling space. Weber’s proprietary Flavorizer bars act as flame guards to divert grease fueled flareups away from the meat. For heating foods, a 112 square inch heating rack is set above main grilling surface. A thermometer is set into the porcelain-enameled lid for convenient readings of the internal grill temperature. The three control knobs and a electric ignition button on the right side of the grill allow for easy starting and adjustments of individual burner intensity.
The left hand shelf provide some extra prep space, though one potential gripe with this grill is that the control dials are unnecessarily set on the right hand shelf rather than set in the center like other grills–this does waste what would be a perfectly useful shelf. As mentioned earlier this particular variant is designed to be hooked to a natural gas line and it easily does so with a convenient 10 foot long hose. When you are not using the grill the enclosed cart under the grill provide a handy spot to store all your grilling gear. And if you want to move the grill, 4 casts allow you to roll the grill where you need it.
The Weber Spirit E-310 Natural Gas Grill is a solid grill, with a strong set of features. If you have a gas line and need a hot grill with ample amounts of space then the Weber Spirit E-310 is worthy contender.
