Weber 586002 Q320 Portable Outdoor Propane Gas Grill Review

The Weber 586002 Q320 Portable Propane Gas Grill has many of the features and capabilities of a larger stationary grill while remaining small and portable enough for tailgating or fitting in smaller backyards.

For starters, the grill’s two stainless-steel burners can provide up to 21,700 BTUs per hour spread across 462-square inches of main grilling space and a 69-square inch warming rack.   Weber claims that the 462 square inches of grilling space can accommodate 18 burgers, 36 hot dogs, 2 whole chickens—regardless the grill has ample amounts of space that can rival larger and heavier grills. The AAA battery powered push button electronic ignition makes lighting the grill easy and convenient. The thermometer mounted on the lid of the grill is helpful in monitoring the internal temperatures of the grill. If adjustments are needed, the heat output of each burner can be controlled and fine tuned using the two control knobs. If you need extra temporary storage space or a place to some last minute preparations two work tables conveniently fold up.

While heavier than other Q-Series grills, the Q320 still shares the relatively compact form factor of other similar models in the series. The lid and body of the grill is made of cast-aluminum and is set in a sturdy and rugged glass-reinforced nylon frame. The grilling area is made of cast iron and has been further coated with porcelain-enamel. The Q320 is designed to use a 20 pound liquid propane gas tank which sold separately from the grill. Like other Weber grills, the Q320 includes a handy little recipe booklet for more grilling ideas and inspiration.

The Weber Q320 Portable Propane Gas Grill strikes a good balance between portability and grilling power, and is a worthwhile consideration for anyone looking for a portable grill that does not compromise on heat or grilling space.
