At first glance the Broil King 94628 Crown 20 grill vaguely resembles the grills from your local park. The Crown 20 is of course much better than those charcoal grills in the park. For starters, the grills 44,000 BTUs of output allow it to easily reach temperatures as high as 600 degrees Fahrenheit–spread evenly throughout the grill.
With 375 square inches of grilling space and and a extra 230 inches of space from a warming rack, there is plenty of space to grill a wide variety of different foods. Ditch the matches, the built in electric ignition makes starting the grill simple, once started you can easily monitor the grill temperatures with the built in thermometer and make necessary adjustments to the intensity of the burners via the two control knobs
The grilling surface it self is made of cast iron and coated in porcelain enamel. To reduce flare ups the Crown 20 is equipped with stainless-steel flame guards (marketed as Flav-R-Wave system by Broil King). The large lid provides enough space and clearance for accommodate larger objects such as roasts. The two adjacent workplaces are useful for temporary storing food and last minute preparation. While designed to be mounted on a in-ground post, a separately purchased patio base is also available. This may be a problem if you want to move the grill around, as it is more or less designed to be stationary.
The Broil King 94628 Crown 20 Grill has all the features of a quality grill. Coupled with a limited lifetime warranty, the Broil King is potentially a great addition to the backyard or patio.
